I have downloaded a lot of free apps onto my itouch and most of them work but a few of them such as myspace facebook and yelp start to load when i touch them but then it just goes back to my home screen
does anyone know why this is happening???

just turn it on and off, normally works

BTW don't post iTouch here you get some fan boys who flip when it is said

that didnt work a bunch of them still wont open and they did last night after i dloaded them

OH NO YOU DIDN'T JUST SAY ITOUCH!!!!!

I'm sending a midget just up as a butler to come run up our face and slap you silly for saying iTouch.:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Then he's gonna come right back and start slapping you for spamming all those smilies. >.>

some of them worked when i first dloaded them and then stopped working and wont open
and how would i reinstall my firmware

To reinstall your firmware, first backup all of your content, open iTunes, go to the iPod section, and click the button that says "Restore". This'll restore your iPod Touch to its factory settings.

I had the same problem, and what worked was to unsync them with the Touch (delete them off it), then resysnc them. For some reason mine get screwed up when there is an update for them. The Touch doesn't ever succeed, leaving a message to use iTunes to download them.

As for apps crashing, it's a sign of newness. Give Apple and the app makers a couple more updates to iron it all out.

Itouch not opening apps

I have a iMac and a dell and it seems that every time I sync my itouch to my PC it start doing this. I have already returned one itouch, and the new one I got didn't start doing this until itunes updated again.

I normally will just restore my itouch and it should work. This seems to be the only way to get the apps working again.

Is your PC authorized and signed in to your itunes account?
