My Early 2008 iMac gets really hot after an hour or so,

just wondering if these temperatures seem okay after 15-20 minutes of use? Screen Shot 2015-10-09 at 8.25.39 p.m..png

My 13" early 2011 Macbook Pro runs at @ 138 F or 58C doing some light browsing, email etc...

Mind you, I am using the MB Pro in clamshell mode with it running a 24" monitor

I think you temps are well within limits... :)

I don't see any problem with your temps. If I remember correctly, the CPU etc can handle @ 95-100 deg Celcius

Yes, very normal. The CPU and GPU have a thermal limit around 100-105 degrees Celsius, and if you reach that limit, the components throttle themselves so that the hardware can chug along unharmed.

The iMac is built that way that the heat is dissipated through the aluminum back - so it's supposed to get warm on the outside. Don't worry :)
