Normal people support themselves financially and pay taxes, correct?
Normal is not the correct term. There is no such thing as a normal person because everyone and everyone's own situation is different. Average or majority would be more appropriate in this context. What's your point?
Yes, I support myself financially and pay taxes.
*fingers crossed for a Libertarian philosophy thread*
So being unable to support oneself financially and not paying taxes makes one abnormal?
this thread defines why there is a wasteland
I'm just glad that we can get an original thought in this place every once in a while...
In the US, only about half the population pays taxes. Im a "normy."
It would fall outside of the statistical average at least in this country. So yes.
I have a six-year-old who doesn't, but I never thought of him as abnormal.
Best to just think of him as a deduction.
If this is your definition of normal, you need a new dictionary.
The only normal people are the one's you don't know very well. (Alfred Adler)
I am a very normal person.
Are you using the word "normal" to refer to a person who conforms to what is common? Or do you mean sane in the psychological sense?
My wife supports me and I stay home with the kids. I guess that is far from "normal".
Everyone is normal except the OP. He's weird.
I pay taxes out of the little income that i make. I work at a fitness club and make $9 an hour, but to be fair i'm in college and can't fully support myself financially. Also, my padre just got me a bmw, am i normal? Probably not. But in all seriousness, your definition of normal is way off.
That's pretty awesome. After all these thousands of years its about time the wives work and the husbands stay home with the kids!
Outstanding thread (sarcasm alert)...
I support myself financially. I do not really pay taxes (at least federal income, obviously I do fica/state income/sales) though since I do not do *that* good of a job supporting myself
