With the election getting very close I thought I'd start a poll to see the opinions on this subject.

No. I have already voted. Even if I hadn't, nothing he could say would get me to vote for him.

Sorry, but I was so bored with the presidential debates, both McCain and Obama have run the gamut of rhetoric, I think they'll say anything to get votes. They're both LOSERS! I'm writing-in HRC for President...:p

I rarely watch TV, and I may have homework, so I'll probably watch footage of it on the internet later on. Not sure how to vote here.

I've already mailed my ballot, so if I did it would be purely out of curiosity.

Well, I will if it's carried live on the internet.

Is it going to be a town hall, or just a speech?

I remember Hillary bought a 2 hour long commercial the day before super tuesday. It was a virtual town hall type of thing. she had it set up so that she had a stage and an audience in every one of the 22 super tuesday states, and two in CA (san fran and LA). she took a question from each state.

i'll watch if its a town hall, but if its just Obama talking, then i've heard it before.

I won't be watching it when it airs since I will be at work at 8pm, but I already set it to record and will watch it when I get home.

Will watch, but I already voted. I don't watch TV so there's nothing for it to interfere with.

I might, if any of the UK news channels broadcast it.

I'll catch it on youtube (not a lot of chance of a US Political broadcast beeing shown in Gibraltar)

Voted already. I'm getting mighty bored at this stage. I prefer watching "the other" team because they're much more entertaining in a train wreck kind of way:D

Yes. I'm curious as to the format of the program, and I'm sure he'll be eloquent as usual.

Personally I hope he addresses every issue brought up against him. Everything.

He needs to let the people who have a different view see who he is.

The New York Times has seen a one-minute trailer.

Sound interesting and very glossy in parts. I never thought it would be a 30 minute address. People don't have the patience these days to sit and absorb that kind of thing.

Yeah, I always assumed it would be some kind of documentary style short film rather than an address. Will any network be streaming it over the web? I can't watch American TV from here. I've watched a lot of events live streamed on CNN, but they said no thanks to Obama's 30-minute special...

Anyway, I hope y'all watch the Obama-mercial on Fox, rather than CBS, MSNBC, NBC, BET or Univision. Join forces and make it Fox's highest rated half-hour ever! Bill O'Rabble's head will explode!

Oh, also... Obama will be on Daily Show today. Only via satellite though. And on Thursday, Rachel Maddow will interview Obama... not sure if it's taped or live, studio, location or satellite...

It might be on MSNBC or even streamed at barackobama.com. I'll wait until tomorrow to find it on youtube or something. I'm not sure whether to stay up late to wait for it.

The acceptance speech at Invesco Field was streamed live in HD using Silverlight, I can't remember where it saw it, but the picture quality was amazing. My MBP's fans were whining like crazy though. :D

Cool. What time is it? I'm 6-8 hours ahead of you guys... I've had to stay up till 3, 4 and even 5 in the morning to watch the debates and the conventions. Oh well, it'll be all over the web tomorrow.

    Ha! :D

McCain has launched a pre-emtive strike against the Obama-mercial.

Obama has released this amusing attack ad. Their sense of humor is rather endearing, much unlike the menacing and utterly humorless anti-Obama ads from the McCain camp.

I'm not sure yet (class starts at 2), but I'll probably have to watch it for my American Government class.

That is an AWESOME idea! :D

I voted absentee but I will still watch because 1) I like Obama and 2) it'll probably be the water cooler topic for tomorrow.
