Media Molecule just announced a new "Pirates of the Caribbean" level kit and character pack along with the Water update for December 22.

Trailer available here: http://www.viddler.com/explore/Joystiq/videos/2527/ and in 720p HD here: http://e.dl.playstation.net/e/lbp/videos/potc-eu-720p.mp4

    From their Web site:

Weigh Anchors and hoist the mainsail, we’re setting sail for the Caribbean.
Rumours say that the fearsome Davy Jones and his mighty Kraken have come to LittleBigPlanet to wreak havoc and claim some sack folk to serve as Davy’s Crew. Once again, it’s going to fall to Sackboy to locate the only ship on LittleBigPlanet that has any chance of sending him back to the bottom of the sea.

It's too bad that LBP is a Playstation exclusive because it sure looks like a lot of fun.

Whereas Valve gave us a new campaign for L4D, new weapons, maps and modes for TF2... all for free :p.
Is it just me or does 5 maps seem a little small? Good figure for the stickers and everything else mind.

I wonder if we’ll get actual music from the movies?

I don’t know how Media Molecule manages to get all these content companies to agree to let them use their IP (Watchmen, Pirates, Ghostbusters, Street Fighter, etc). They must have a hell of a licensing team over there.

5 levels + 1 minigame is the same amount of content that was in the MGS pack, and this is only $6. The main thing is the amazing water feature.... finally.

His point is probably that he games on PS3, not PC, so he likes devs that develop for the PS3 more.
