Very interesting read
Interesting article indeed, and the comments are a good read too.
Not sure what to make of it all. In the end, the iPhone has obviously changed the wireless market forever, and continues to do so. The wild west days of companies gouging us for ringtones, wallpaper and streaming content are over. My fear is that until they figure out where to make up the difference, we will continue to see shoddy outdated service, and that if and when they do figure out a new business plan, it may involve price fixing, meaning all the carriers will raise their basic fees across the board, to make up for the lost revenue that the iPhone has deprived them of.
