My phone is unlocked but I am an AT&T customer. My original iphone has the ****ed up headphone jack issue where it thinks any headphones are apple remote so it keeps pausing and skipping the tracks. I'm getting a box mailed over because I'm under warranty. However, I unlocked with iLiberty when I went overseas over the summer. I didn't want 3 months of roaming bills. My phone shows no obvious signs of unlocking or jailbreaking (no installer, cydia, looks like a 1.1.4 phone which it is) Will they check my firmware even if I'm a bill playing AT&T user with a hardware-only issue? Will they keep my phone and not send it back to me, brick it and send it or just fix it? I am aslo supposed to get a loaner phone. Will they not give me that if they see the firmware? How does the whole thing work anyway? Should I re-virginize? Can you even do that if you unlocked the simlock?
