AT&T new line activation and using that phone to cover another line

    My wife's phone broke and wants an iphone. The only issue is that it's not eligible for an upgrade. Can i activate a new line and use that iphone to cover her line. I know I will have to upgrade to a data plan on her line. And the downside is i get charged 9.99 a month for the new line. I've did this before for upgrades but not new line activations.

    Why not ask your carrier?

    because its 10pm and im not likely to get anyone right now.

    Well, I guess there is always tomorrow.:D Especially since you probably wont get a new phone tonight....

    yeah ill just go into the store. Plus if I call the 24/7 line I'll get some derp from India named Mike.
