Automating Audacity

I'm in need of some automation - I have 700 + WAV files that I need to add a second of silence to as the DVD I am using them in is cutting them off.
Here are the steps I've taken in Automator so far but haven't been able to get it to automate.

Has anyone done anything like this before or would have any ideas?
