I just bought it. Upon installing nothing popped up. Just an app with no request to use the motion sensor but as soon as you open the app on the watch it states to look at the phone and all the permissions started to pop up.

Seems ok but I need to sleep now to know if it's any good or not! hehe Will compare to my Fitbit tonight.

A common problem of not detecting your sleep is that you did not give us one of the permission listed below. A new version 1.3 is under submission that will prompt you in the app about the error.

    How to use:
    1. Keep the app in your watch's dock. That it!
    2. Make sure to grant app permission:
    - Health kit permission: we need to read your heart rate and report sleep data
    - Notification permission: we need to alert you when we detect your sleep
    - Motion & Fitness Activity: we need access to the motion sensor to measure your sleep stages

Support seems quick and my reply so far:

I think I found the log, the bug causing the problem is fixed in next release 1.3, which was submitted yesterday, we will try to request expedite to get this version out soon. Thanks for bearing with us.

Bit worrying when ver 1.2 said:

    What's New in Version 1.2
    - give partial sleep report in morning
    - address all outstanding sleep detection problems

It wakes you up when it detects that you're asleep?

It needs to have ver 1.3 to work. The dev identified a bug.

Once that is out I will test and feedback.

    Great news! The app works!

Seems to be processing in the background on the watch. About 50 mins after I woke up I got a message showing my sleep and the sleep appeared in the app and health.

Still working. I tested against a Fitbit Flex and this was better. It got my start and end times nearly right. The Fitbit was out by an hour. Also this seems to use motion data from the watch along with HR data. So it should be pretty accurate.

    Well impressed for £1.49

I forgot to mention it took a while to process the sleep on the watch (couple of hours). I let the dev know and apparently a new version is out soon with cloud backup of sleeps.

Anyone else tried it? Working ok?

Just purchased and will try tonight. Been using Sleep Watch which seems to do a pretty good job automatically tracking sleep, too.

Didn't work on the first night. I had it loaded on two apple watches. When I removed it from one it sort of worked on the second night. Bed time and rising time were correct but it didn't have me sleeping for the first three and a half hours. I was actually sleeping like a log after spending the whole day working in the garden.

Can anyone inform me what the height of the bars means? Initially I thought that they represented heart rate but this does not match the numeric display.

I had 1.4 upgraded to 1.5 and sleep tracking stopped working.

I removed the app, reinstalled. Make sure you agree to motion and fitness, health access and notifications. Once done it should work. If it doesn't, check it appears in motion and fitness.

I had the same issue, contacted the dev and that's what he told me.

Thanks for the efforts. Not sure why your screenshot was 'deleted as requested'.

I've been an insomniac all my life, sleeping pills have bad effects on my sleep and waking state mixed exams tired from jobs etc. Almost 40yrs now in my life and I still cannot deal with timely and restful peaceful sleep single or the married like life. I fear my son is the same as well with smartphone usage.

So having something like the Bedtime app in iPhone has helped remind me to plug out log off devices and voto bed but I'm still lying there for 2-3 hours staring at images. I'm heavily keen on AppleWatch and sleeping apps to see about my sleep status: heart rate potential ecg motion (chronic nightmares) night terrors (unsure if this can be detected with heart rate spikes or not), etc. Right now the only thing that is full proof to keep me remained in sleep is ganja. But I'd like to see the difference in my sleep between using that, sleeping pills, Horlicks malt drink, major tidying and working out late at nights in the gym. I figure cycling through typical days (5 days before switch) between these may show some interesting results.

    Just got an update:

    What's New in Version 1.6
    - New detection algorithm that can piece together segments of sleep. Feel free to take bathroom break, it will count the sleep afterwards
    - Allow user to manually override sleep time, keep sleep history clean if detection is off
    - Faster loading for first time users

I used to have sleep problems. I normally write down anything on my mind, anything, whatever it is, to clear my mind. I also try not to drink after 6pm.

If that doesn't work, I watch something on Youtube that's relaxing! Acupuncture, massage. 10 mins and I am gone.

    No medication, drugs, nothing

    :)

Never tried accupuncture. A good masseuse is ideal slipped my mind. Although herb use is in my family for generations I can't due it during the week I'll wake up redeyed, plus I don't like it much. Will try no drinking (just water) past 6pm

Oh, no, sorry. I meant just watch someone on YouTube showing how to Acupuncture or Massage (Try searching for ASMR). It's amazing how relaxing they are and you just fall asleep. haha

Hope that helps! :) Nothing worse than not being able to sleep.

How nice of the developer to allow people to do that :-D

And more seriously if this works well it is a very good feature to have.

I wonder, with apps like this, how much and what data is sent to the cloud, what happens to it, how much processing is done there and, which cloud?
