Just trying to figure out what on earth the AV composite cable does to the ipod Touch.
Basically, there is some serial data exchange going on, for authentication or something. I've recorded some of the data, it is at http://360.yahoo.com/shabaz_yousaf but cannot figure out what the challenge/response is :-(
Anyone have any clue?
If more traces are needed, I can capture some.
Would also be interesting to see what the apple component AV cable does, but I don't have one (and its getting expensive breaking these cables!).
