So if you say that Irene was caused and/or made worse by climate change you're a "radical environmentalist;" if you say that Irene was caused by God, then you're just a presidential candidate for the Republican Party.

I think Michele Bachmann's existence proves that God doesn't care about the US at all.

Besides, the hurricane and earthquake made damage, and it's gonna cost money to fix it.
Maybe God is so tired of the crumbling infrastructure that he decided to take the reins and force us to build it back? God is actually encouraging more spending?

Well, my guess is as good as hers.

"Obviously she was saying it in jest."

Her campaign now claims she was only joshin' with ya!

Brilliant move. Nothing negates a stupid public comment like saying that you were only kidding...

Maybe?? We've been over this road before.

He would be obligated to actually do something, before He could be accused of slacking-off. ;)

Remember, Climate Change is an unproven theory, but the Great Bearded Man in the Sky Who Speaks to Me is to be listened to without question.

We've had Catholics in this very forum who, although stopping short of claiming geocentrism, asserted that Galileo had no evidence for his claims, that he was a horrible prevaricator, and that he deserved to be imprisoned by the Church for his crimes.

Wow...I am so glad that Bachmann brought this issue to light. I didn't realize that the boundaries of Washington DC had been pushed out to cover most of the Eastern seaboard. Damn uncontrolled government expansion!!! It really sneaks up on you. Our capital now apparently extends for hundreds of miles!!!! And the White House must have been moved to Vermont.

I really need to keep up on these things....lol

I am still waiting for the reasoning they happen is because we elected a black president.

But come on the earthquake happened because I farted in class and let someone else get blamed for the stink bomb and the Hurricane happen because I took a crap between the hours of 2-3 AM in the morning

I still think Bachmann is a distraction. The nominee will either be Romney or Perry.

Doesn't it bother you that so many Republicans support her? I can't remember the last time such a far left Democratic contender received so much support. If Romney does make it, the people who support Bachmann will not support him because he's an east coast liberal and he's mormon. The fundamentalists won't have anything to do with him.

Just remember what House, MD said: "If you talk to God, you're religious. If God talks to you, your psychotic."
