I'm wondering if there is such thing as a backlight program that I can put onto my computer, so I get lots of light on my face when I talk on the webcam with my friends.

I looked at http://www.imagectrl.com/english/light/#/home/, but of course, it's for the NEXT version of MAC. I only have 10.4 on my computer.

I've looked for other things, but I can't find anything. Help?

I need something that will make it brighter or make the whole screen white, so it gives off light. Shades is something that makes things DIMMER. I want something so I don't need to buy another lamp. If I HAVE to, I will...but I thought it would be easier to have the COMPUTER do it.

You could use a white background (or desktop).

Perhaps your camera needs some calibration? I think *disclaimer* there is software that allows you to tweak the cameras settings itself. (gain, hue, ect...) I see a search in your future.
