Robert Bales (Alleged murderer of 16 Afghans including women and children) is to be imprisoned in the same prison as...

Bradley Manning (Who allegedly released documents which exposed a number of atrocities committed by US forces).

The major difference? Bales has been treated a-lot better.

Welcome to America. The only thing worse than murdering 2 year old's, is telling the world about it.

But how can you expect democracy to function if the government has to tell us what it is up to?

Not only this, the lawyer representing Bales says there's no evidence that Bales was involved. Isn't 16 dead bodies and witness statements enough?

That's bureaucracy right there. When lawyers create the foundation of a society, you sure will end up with morally ambiguous sentences, no matter the crime.
