Amusing spam e-mail received today. No, I did not click on the link. No want can lost computer.
the link leads to a website that looks like a Gov page but is not. then starts to dl a file that is a virus for windows boxes
I even sent out an email to the whole office saying not to click on links like that and sure enough my usual "typhoid mary" clicked on it anyways... I hate stupid people ... my boss wont let me take her computer away
I didn't get this one in my inbox... oh well.
Doesn't your office have virus protection on their machines? But I agree that not clicking on suspicious links is the first line of defense.
Why not? It was from the "2008 USA Government Official Web Site."
