Does it take a lot of battery to turn off or on all radios? (Cellular + Wifi)

Or does it take the same amount of battery?

Yes, it'll drain them very fast. It's just ridiculous.

So fast in fact, that you won't have the time to make it to the mains to plug it in...

Is that why my 3Gs' battery died like mad when I turned WiFi off and on again though out the day rather then leaving it on? I always attributed it to a poor 3G signal.

Nope! Signal had nothing to do with it, you got to stop using those toggles!!!

The foil from Hershey's Kisses works the best. It has the right thickness and density to block the most common radio wave. Plus, it comes with chocolate.

I make some mean jell-o, so maybe that'll work? :p

Yep. Get ready for the FBI suits to hide out at your favorite s#itters.

I've heard that a good dish of conspiracy with a healthy dose of paranoia goes well with a good wine. :D

You know, I can see how that would work, just kind of spice it up, a bit.

Not too much, though, because if you sneeze, then the suits are gonna bust down your door because they heard you. I feel like it would also go well with a bicycle.

If the next load is going to be like the last, they can have it. I'll tell them via Siri to bring a hazmat team.

Ah yes. A nice aged donkey - circa 2000? A fine choice :), Mellow, yet smooth, with subtle fruity and earthy tones.

I bet it's those tracking bugs playing hell with your insides..

Just switched airplane mode on and off for 30 times, no noticeable battery drop.

Did you let it connect to the matrix before turning it off again?

You have to wait until it can ping the nearest cell tower for new messages. Depending on your carrier, tower traffic, and signal, that can take about 2 minutes. I suggest waiting at least two minutes between each on/off cycle. After doing that, you'll see your phone eat power faster then a GameBoy.
