Hi, A friend came to visit me about a year ago. I remember she had a non-ipod device. It never impressed me in any way. I don´t even remember the brand name. The only thing that I thought it was interesting at the time, is that one could change the battery very easily. She said a replcement battery costed between 30 and 40 bucks. That fact is now relevant to me because in the last month or so, I have noticed that the battery of my ipod lasts much less time than before and I have wondered what people can do in this case. Can they send the ipod to Apple and get the battery replaced ?? How expensive is that to do ?? ** In my case, the ipod was bought mainly as a tool to learn by listenning to different materials, so it was not only meant as a cool device to carry around and listen to music. It is a nice thing to be able to replace the battery. I am not a person who can afford to buy a new ipod everytime the battery dies. Thank you, igmolinav.
