A friend sent this to me. Apologies if you've already seen it, but it does hit upon a lot of truths.
thanks.. i had a good laugh!
Hahah, thanks for the great laugh.
Unfortunately, nearly all of it is true. *shudder*
Didn't realise that tofu was that political.
Anything can be political...
in America! (fanfare)
As soon as they find an issue that would normally be apolitical (say, Elian Gonzales or Terri Schaivo) but they know which side the Democrats would come down on (typically the side of reason, science, or the rule of law) should there be a wedge created with the case, they'll use the full force of their machine to drive that wedge (typically an emotional appeal), which they then use to highlight a broader accusation, like how Democrats bow to international laws and support Communists (Gonzales) or that liberal activist judges are so widespread and rampant that they murder cripples (Schaivo).
It's brilliant, really.
Well if you consider the political field a white-dominated area (which is STILL is, look at the faces of the President/Senate/etc.), then consider how many whites even EAT Tofu.
Not that many.
Remember that Bush Sr. hated broccoli (wtf?!)...and you can sorta see the relationship between conservative thinking >> conservative eating styles. They choose not to try new things.
Those who do eat tofu, I'm betting have tried alot of other stuff too.
Seriously, just the other day I watched with a smirk at my face when a white girl was "scared" of eating sushi. (and we're not even talking about sashimi here)
Its just rice and fake crab meat. That's not scary. Would that girl rather try stomachs? Frog legs? Honestly.
I've never tried stomachs, but frog legs are delicious and sushi hits the spot (the fresh L.A. sushi anyway). Nothing beats crawfish though.
Yeah, I didn't realize that baby's were "Republican."
For the GOP, family is everything.. "Family Values"
sushi...brrrrr ..raw fish..perhaps the lack of sea ... drives me away from that stuff
ontopic: the pictures are really neat
I especially like the part about the more you talk about Jesus, the less you have to act like him.
And the landslide victory of over 1% clearly shows that Democrats are done for.
If you want to see the circle of life, order a meatlovers pizza.
Genius, pure genius.
