Okay my first time buying and installing my own memory so I just want to make sure I don't choose the wrong thing. I have an Octo Mac Pro, 2.8 GHz with 1 GB x 4 RAM right now. I am looking to add another 8 GB by buying 2 GB x 4 from OWC. Can someone just let me know if this is the right thing to buy for my particular Mac Pro:

Thanks.

Is the $550 netlist RAM better than the $350 OWC RAM?

That's difficult to say -- and it's pretty possible that netlist as well as OWC RAM is being made on the same factory. I'm happy with the OWC.
