I think that it is Rubio that needs to see this particular light.

Cruz and Kasich have zero chance at beating Hillary. Heck, Kasich has zero chance of the nomination.

Kasich would balance any of the others well and that in itself would help stop the Clinton train.

If he wants to balance the ticket he needs to withdraw now and make himself available for VP. As it is, he still seems to suffer delusions that he might get nominated in a brokered convention.

When he says the grassroots movement will continue, does that mean he will continue grifting?

Dr. Carson is a solid and responsible man who any Republican Pres would love to have as part of the administration.

Finally! Nationwide book tour is finally over.

Lightweight Rubio is probably the most delusional candidate in the race. He thinks 2nd and 3rd place is 1st place. He even gives "victory speeches" when he loses, and claims he will be the one to take down Trump.

Kasich will not withdraw before Ohio. First of all he's the most popular elected official in that state and second the GOP convention is in Cleveland this year...

I have a new theory why Trump is in this ballgame, having just read the front page of the GOP's convention website:

"The main 2016 Republican National Convention venue will be the Quicken Loans Arena."

Good ol' Donald. Never pass up a chance to snag a loan. He might have been attracted to this idea from the GOP convention blurb as well, since I'm sure he wants to pay himself back for that loan he made to his own campaign:

"The RNC chose a 2016 convention date much earlier than in recent elections, allowing the Republican nominee to draw upon campaign cash designated to be spent only in the general election."

    http://2016.republican-convention.org/

The question at this point is who on earth is still donating money to the GOP?

    =======

Yes we do. How we gonna do that?!

Sanders won Minnesota too... wonder what Michelle Bachmann thinks of that.

I hope he stays in till the end so he can go to the RNC and point out that tweedledee, tweedledum, and the orangemen all need some adult supervision and he's the adult

Kasich may be shrewdly thinking that he will deny Trump Ohio. Not a bad strategy.

He's getting his script from the even more delusional RNC which apparently thinks they can install Rubio at the convention somehow. The RNC may have missed the point of the bliblical assessment ".. and the last shall be first.." in making a quick scan of the Good Book for some assistance with the Hail Mary pass they're going to need in July at that convention.

If the end game is winning the White House then Trump, Cruz, or Rubio isn't the answer. Doesn't matter if you finish the regular season with the best record if you get bounced out of the playoffs.

Rubio would give Hillary a real race. Trump & Cruz would be thoroughly beaten.

I think you're right. The polls from RCP have shown Rubio has consistently been up against Clinton in a heads-up contest. However, as Rubio burns out, Cruz seems slightly more likely to win against Clinton than Trump.

Right now, this poll shows Sanders with a +12 lead over Trump, while Clinton has a +8 over Trump. Meanwhile, while Sanders takes Cruz by +17, Clinton could lose to the Texas Senator, though only by +1 (well within the poll's margin of error.)

We'll have to see where this goes.

Gotta feel sorry for Carson. Even in this thread, which is ABOUT him, he is essentially ignored.

One didn't need to be a brain surgeon to see that coming...

Trump/Kasich 2016 would be a palpable challenge to Hillary/whomever (maybe Sanders??)
