I doubt they’ll prove Hillary’s emails led to the attack, but they’ll be able to prove Hillary lied about reason for the attack and prove defamation.

Patricia Smith and Charles Woods v. Hillary Rodham Clinton

    https://www.scribd.com/document/320573662/Smith-and-Woods-v-Clinton-Complaint

“Islamic terrorists obtained the information sent and received by Defendant Clinton about the location of Ambassador Christopher Stevens and thus the U.S. Department of State and the covert CIA and other government operations in Benghazi and used it to plan, orchestrate, and carry out the horrific and devastating attack on the American diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya on September 11, 2012 (“Benghazi Attack”), resulting in the death of four Americans, including Sean Smith and Tyrone Woods.”

“Clinton has negligently, recklessly, and/or maliciously defamed Plaintiffs by either directly calling them liars, or by strongly implying that they are liars, in order to protect and enhance her public image and intimidate and emotionally harm and silence them to not speak up about the Benghazi attack on at least four separate occasions.”

I agree in that trying to prove her email was hacked AND that it lead to the attack would be a challenge.

One revealing, flippant, degrading comment from the old ladies lips: "What Difference Does It Make" says it all.

Hillary spits in the face of the victims and their parents.

    What vile disgusting behavior...

So sad that some of these families are allowing themselves to be used as political pawns. Especially as this whole Benghazi story has been run into the ground.

Hillary is untouchable, we know that. At best they'll get a quiet settlement so as not to have to deal with the nonsense.

The cunning master of cover-ups has become even more untouchable as each day goes by. Her deep connection with the heavily biased, Pro Liberal, Pro Clinton media, combined with her strong establishment ties, is assuring her free ride to the Coronation.

The only source that could be better would be to inhabit the souls of the participants and experience the proceedings through their own senses.

(My original post was a compliment. You done good.)

Ambassador Stevens was known to the Libyans because he had meetings throughout the city. The night before, he had dinner with city officials in Benghazi. Occam's Razor suggests that Libyans attacked the facility because they were paying attention rather than a computer hack.

The plaintiffs will have to prove that the email server was hacked and that email was collected by someone connected with Islamic terrorism who then transmitted that information to ISIS in Libya. And, that this is why the attack occurred.

    Anything less is circumstantial.

The one and only reason the story has received so much coverage over such a long period is Hillary's refusal to reveal the truth. She's hoodwinked her supporters, deceived all those who search for justice, and proven that her money will buy her a pass.

Like Trump spits in the face of Gold Star families? Or the way he says he's "always wanted one of these" when handed a purple heart?

Yeah at least Trump has "watched the shows" and will make a great commander in chief. :D

Its stuff like this that gives the American legal system a bad name.

In very brief terms this suit will never go anywhere. In legal terms, that's called (at best) meritless, at worst frivolous.

To begin with, officials of the Federal Government are, by and large, protected from suits such as this by the doctrine of Qualified Immunity. In short, this means that unless it can be proven that the official in question deprived an individual of their "statutory or Constitutional rights" - then they cannot be held liable for injuries or losses suffered by their subordinates.

And this is a pretty important Doctrine to have if you want to have a functioning Government.

The rest of the lawsuit alleges that Hillary Clinton "defamed" the parents of the Benghazi victims. Without going into too many details, from a legal standpoint "defamation" is a pretty high standard to meet. Simply saying (as Hillary Clinton did) that she "disagreed" with someone's opinion doesn't come within a million miles of meeting that standard.

A frivolous lawsuit example is the failed one that Marilyn Mosby commenced against the police.

"A law professor with a history of taking prosecutors to task has set his sights on the Baltimore state’s attorney, who failed in her bid to put six cops in prison in connection with the racially-charged death of Freddie Gray."
