I used to have Wipr (loved it) and now I'm being told it doesn't work with Safari anymore?

Does anyone have any recommendations on a solid Ad Blocker?

Wipr works perfectly on Safari 12 and 13. I use (and prefer) 1Blocker because it allows customised lists and granular control.

Adguard has worked well for me ever since I installed it everywhere.

The only things it has trouble with are those damn cookie messages. Ever after adding a filter.

is WIPR Working for you on iOS? It used to work great, but ever since updating my iPad to IOS 13.1, I’m now seeing ads again. I even checked settings and have the 3 Wipr blockers turned on in safari settings.

I'm using Firefox and uBlock Origin now that Safari 13 is out. I miss the integration of Safari with the passwords but without a good ad blocker it's a no go for me. I still use Safari for bill pay sites because an ad blocker isn't necessary. This is on MacOS. On iOS I still use Safari but might change IDK

Using Better Blocker and seems to be working great

Thanks! I was using it on the old "Safari Extensions" for freeand it appears to have been removed. I was able to buy it for $1.99 and everything is working as expected now.

Is that normal that I had to buy it for MacOS and iOS separately? Essentially twice?

To block YouTube ads, one has to block YouTube.
I block them with uBlock origin just fine.
No, not on a router. In a virtual machine, on a Raspberry Pi, on any PC running Linux or Raspbian.
I'm not sure if this would help me block ads on my Mac. I guess I could trade it in for a Raspberry Pi LOL. I've heard there is some way to block traffic on a router like this but IDK

I've used Adblock Plus for quite some time now and really enjoy it.

1Blocker. They're soon updating their Mac app to match 1Blocker X on iOS. It's the fastest and most reliable in my opinion.

From a related thread:
Ka-Block seems to do the trick on Safari 13, too. :)

I used to have both Adblock, Adblock Plus, uBlock and Ka-block, and tried them all (alone and in combination).

After upgrading to Safari 13, I kept only Ka-Block. It does the job without any fuzz (and without any additional permissions to access this and that).

I use to have Brave as my main browser. No Ads no nothing. Firefox (+uBlock Origin) for the rest and in very rare occasions I use Safari (almost never).

Same here. Don't use the Pro version though, it will completely mess up Safari.
