I snagged one. Even if I resell it to buy a 4 in the near future, I could probably get $250 or more considering the mini 2 MSRP is $269

I just scooped one up. Never had an iPad so I might give it a try for some time. I think its a great deal and I felt like I couldn't pass it up!

Yeah as I was purchasing them I had to change two of the local Best Buys here for in store pickup. People must have jumped all over these. Two stores sold out of them while I was thinking about it for those 15 mins.

Almost thought about buying one as a "starter" iPad for my wife and then upgrade her to the mini 4, but I had already told her I was getting her the newest iPad mini.

Plus it has a slower processor than our iPhones that we aren't 100% happy with (90% though) so I don't think that would be a good investment.

Yeah I just got one as a starter iPad so I wont have to have my Macbook Air everywhere. Never had an iPad so I said why not.

Wow, I didn't even know mini 3 supported the PiP, MLB app just updated and this is fantastic. I can't really think of what I'd use split screen for besides video and another app so this is fine for me. This deal looks even better now :D

I acquired an iPad Mini 3 64GB for $299 last week in a similar deal from Target, luckily I had a $100 gift card

Glad I'm not the only one with a mini 3 lol. Got my mini 3 128 GB with cellular when the mini 3s first came out, love it. Feels weird that Apple is not selling them anymore but still selling the mini 2s.

Hmmm....I saw the benchmark tests with the mini 3 vs mini 4 and it seems like its not that big of a performance upgrade. Not sure if the extra 1gb of ram is worth the $150 price difference was when the mini 3 was on sale at best buy.

I ended up returning it and buying an iPad Air 2 for $349 instead. Much better.

Im not sure what to think. If I buy the reduced price now, it will cost a higher amount later. What to do?

Go for it. That's better than the current deal that Target has. With the iPad Mini 3 lineup being discontinued, you won't find these on shelves for much longer.

    lol I picked up a 16GB today. Don't think I'll have a need for 64 GB since I already have an Air 2 128 GB :p

$225 was a crazy price for an iPad mini 3 considering the iPad mini 1 was $250 not too long ago!

Got my iPad today and pretty happy. It was an open box item that was brand new minus the plastic covering on the outside of the box. Inside, everything was unused and perfect. I got iOS 8.4 so I jailbroke it and checked the warranty. Psyched that I get the full 1 year warranty since I expected to get a few months knocked off because it was open box.
