What does pre ordering an iPhone through Best Buy mean? I pre ordered mine on June 15th within the first few hours they opened. I was #5 or #6 on the list but I didn't understand what the Best Buy employee was saying when he explained what pre ordering does for me. Can someone explain, thoroughly?

You are not guaranteed a phone because they are not allowed to guarantee one for the 24th. You will receive one from the stock they receive from Apple. Considering you're 5 or 6 on the list, you'll be fine.
