The team is definitely on an upswing, too - we've been over 40k for the last 3 days in a row, and our 24-hour average should climb over that mark for the first time in a while.

So just out of curiosity, how close to the top am i going to get with just 2 computers? I've got my dual 1.8 folding 24x7, and a 3.0e P4 folding 24x7. My team rank is 414 right now, and it seems progression is slowing dramatically. I thought i heard someone say that a dual 2.0 would punch out ~700 points a day... but my average with both of these computers is only around 300pts a day. My username is glencox

There are a lot of factors that can come into play for determining the amount of points a given machine can produce. If there is a lot of other activity going on (games, editing video, etc.) it will take time away from Folding. I also think that 700/day estimate was a bit generous.
Looks like you'll be in the top 300 in a little more than a week, the top 200 in a little over 3 weeks, and the top 100 in about 2.5 months - you're moving along well.

The dual G5 does not doe 700 a day, but more like 200-225. I have almost the same setup like you, and am around the 40th place of our team. Still have a lot of people to overtake. Can get to around the 25th place.

Hehehe... yeah... It'll be a while... although today is a good day for me... I'm getting over 500 points today... I'm hoping for 350 to be my normal average...

Uh oh... it's down to 392 days right now...
Still a long ways off but my daily average isn't stable yet... should keep going up for a little bit... Still might take until late next Spring but... You best add some more CPU's!
Hmmmm... I wonder if I can add more CPU's at work since I have control over all the computers in the department...

707 is a lot closer than the previous 8500...
But yeah... probably not anytime soon if ever.
I was going to set a new high of 650+ points in one day, but that little goal got ruined by some forced downtime of my iMac (had to reinstall the OS). 478 points in one day isn't shabby, but I've done better in the past.
