Best Firmware for iPhone 3G?

Im giving my old iPhone to my brother, its running 3.1.3 and i just wanted to know what you guys think the best verion to put on it is. He doesnt care for jailbreaking, so im thinking just restoring it to remove my music and my jailbreak and leave it on 3.1.3?
