I wanna get a good one what is there for mac?
world of warcraft is good if you're looking for an online one, and fable's VERY good for a single-player, more action-oriented rpg.
There aren't any good ones..imo
well, KOTOR is cool I guess, 5 years ago..
Neverwinter Nights. I must say that it is one of the best RPGs out there, as long as you dont mind a bit of complexity and a long campaign. it would be nice if the mac version had the level editor but I suppose neveredit will have to suffice.
SNES emulator + Chrono Trigger/FF6
I agree, emulators for REAL consoles are the bomb diggity.
Is Fable out for mac? (PPC)
Wow... I was JUST going to come into this thread to say this! I'm currently emulating Chrono Trigger.... what an awesome RPG.
Kotor is the shiznit.
That is if you like starwars.
If you don't then God have mercy on your soul.
Hmm...some of my favorites would have to be:
1. The Sims 2
2. Neverwinter Nights
3. Age of Mythology
Baldur's Gate 2 hands down.
Fallout 1 and 2
But my favorite of all time but its just for PC is FREELANCER(RPG/action/space shooter)
chrono cross is really good too (at leas it was, 4 years ago when i last played it), but i never finished. is chrono trigger related to chrono cross in any way?
Baldur's Gate II
Classics never die, i love KOTOR, it thought it was great.
Minions of Mirth all the way.
Free 3D online MMORPG. Very good graphics and excellent gameplay. Premium version with extra features is just $30
I got hooked on it over the weekend, its definitely the best for RPG for mac.
is Fable for PPC released
double post by accident
Hello? Diablo2 with expansion. Even though it lacks grpahics it is still a very adictive game. If you are looking for a more modern game then get into world of warcraft. It has some diablo elements incorporated into it but has improved in other areas where other rpgs of its kind failed. IMO best mmorpg out is WoW.
Yep, Chrono Trigger came first, and was for the Super Nintendo... Chrono Cross could be considered a sequel. I haven't played it yet but I will eventually.
Fallout 2 is a good choice. There seem to be comparatively few modern, offline RPGs released at all, let alone on the Mac. I still haven't gotten around to KOTOR myself (I was holding out hope for a universal binary), but I may finally break down and just Rosetta it.
I played that... buggyest game i have ever played ! I didn't know what the hell was going on.
