I film the majority of my days. Luckily I've done this with my iPhone, iPad and way back in the day my Flip Mino HD. I've had car mounts for all of these, specifically in the dash or rear view mirror area...

Though with the low prices of cameras everywhere I wouldn't mind investing in having a camera solely with the purpose of recording my safety should an unwarranted police altercation was to take place or say an angry driver does something crazy and a video can come handy in court. This is all precautionary and really am just thinking of spoiling myself by buying a dedicated camera for the car.

Any advice along the way is appreciated, as always.

    Thanks!

If "any advice" truly is appreciated here, then here goes:

Stop recording your life and start living it.

G1WH is a quality ~ $40 dash can. Just be sure to find one from a legitimate source as the knockoffs are low quality.

Agreed. That is a paranoid outlook on life, OP.
