iPod touch better video conversion software/ help

hey guys, right now im using roxio crunch on my blackbook, how ever most videos i convert arent that great. the video quality is about 7 or 8 out of 10 but the audio is always 4 to 10 seconds off after the video gets about a minute in. ive tried different file types and different file sizes but no luck to date. if anyone can help please let me know thanks

i got handbrake and after some tweaking of the settings i got it works great. except when i try doing a batch of more then 3 files. ill try visual hub as well thanks again guys
