Big government = increased burden on the poor more than the rich

    So are you saying that the entire USA is so lacking in imagination that tax rises automatically must be based on how France does things? That between the 300 or so million of you not one person could possibly be creative enough to come up with a different system or even adopt the model from a different country?

    Why do you hate America so much?

    The graph of course is useless without basic info about the taxes. One thing that easily comes to mind is France has a VAT while in the US, individual states have variable sales taxes. Another issue is that in France, the poor and the middle class have access to free health care and generous family subsidies. So a simple graph about taxes really does nothing of substance when it comes to discussion of taxes.

    Holy **** what a completely baseless comparison with absolutely no specifics or indication of criteria.
