All the money in the world thrown at the election won't be able to disguise the words and actions of the GOP. Let the Koch brothers waste their money trying to put lipstick on a pig. No skin off my nose. This is like George Soros spending money to help the Democrats court Evangelicals.

Nothing surprising. The Koch brothers successfully confused a lot of poor white voters in the South to vote against their own interests. Why wouldn't the same strategy work with Latino voters? The Kochs are experts at spending money to confuse people.

I just can't see the Koch brothers trying to put lipstick on Hill'ry, can you, really...?

    ----------

Wow, they're emulating the same tactics that the Democrats use to suppress and control the blacks and other minorities, e.g., Detroit.

The Koch Brothers fund "Nova" on PBS.

    They are American heroes.

They've done much more than Tom Steyer.

This thread wasn't even about Hillary, you were the first to mention her. It's hilarious seeing how threatened conservatives are by the future Mrs. President. :D

The Obama campaign spent hundreds of millions of dollars in 2008. Hillary might top a billion for 2016.

Soros did business with the Nazis.

Yet the Koch brothers are a problem.

    LOL!!

Thank God for Citizens United. It lets corporations do what the unions have done for years.

Citizens United was a great idea. Dump an unlimited amount of cash into an already corrupt political system for the benefit of corporations and the narcissistic sociopathic politicians that do their bidding. What's not to love?

What does this have to do with the topic at hand, other than providing a release for you ODS?

So did the Bush's. They also flew the bin Laden family out of the US while flights were grounded after 9/11. OMFGBBQ!!11!!!

Glad we can agree. Of course, they're not the only ones. How the **** can you support a system where the whim of some whacked out billionaire can determine whether or not one can be a serious candidate for President?

That old bull ****? Unions represent such a small portion of workers and have nowhere near the money they did decades ago.

As usual, you pick up some balderdash from some low-credibility site like the Washington Free Beacon and try to back it up without doing any analysis.

First, on the Top 20 PACs, among the Top 20 are a couple of national associations and three defense contractors. We don't see a single union until number 8 behind AT&T and the American Bankers Assoc.
The top PAC has spent $3.8 million.

However, let's look at the SuperPACs. What's number 4 on the list? It's the Freedom Partners Action Fund, part of the Freedom Partners, a coalition structured like a chamber of commerce and funded by the Koch Bros.

And, the group is ready to spend a war chest of nearly $29 million, such as $3.8 million it spent to fund Joni Ernst's Senate campaign in Iowa.

To sum up, unions lack the power they once had.

I'd also add we're talking about Presidential elections and your Free Beacon bird cage liner is talking midterms.

How can I put this without sounding racist?

Latinos are too smart to fall for the sort of nonsense the Kochs are peddling. Latino culture places a high value on concepts like "honor"; "family" and "loyalty." And they are smart enough to know that the sort of xenophobic/bomb the border!/round up the illegals! mindset that panders to white Iowa Republican primary voters probably isn't in the best interest of them, and especially not their families.

Time to pull this one back out of the bag, as some of the Reds here are just as wont to forget that this happened, as much as the Kochs want everyone else to not remember.

The Kochs are hoping that people are quickly to forget, because they seem to have forgotten that Latinos had confronted two of the people they've supported not so long ago.

    http://www.npr.org/blogs/thetwo-way...ack-and-forth-between-dreamer-and-congressman

BTW: That person sitting with King? None other than Rand Paul, who took off out of there fast enough that Usain Bolt couldn't catch him. Funny that he'd rather run than try to be presidential and actually take on such a topic.

This alone needs to be packaged up and slapped upside the "tea" party, as well as the Koch's naive heads.

Buy them, a tactic the Koch brothers are well versed in. Hopefully the Latinos in question will be advised of the game plan.

Conservatives are sharpening the long knives in anticipation of tearing into the Clinton legacy of deception, deceit and demagoguery.

I don't think they can get their knives sharp enough to beat Hillary with any of their radical extremist clowns. And Jeb Bush recently said that his brother George is his most trusted middle east policy advisor. :D
