I never used it, but I find it hilarious that Microsoft is using Apple as a way to say that something is really good... LOL

Microsoft really likes talking about similarities to Apple products recently, this would never go on at a company say like Apple.

The only good thing about Bing is the cashback... that is when it's available. Other than that, Google.

The problem is google wasn't found by US, European, and Chinese government to have violate the law. Google won its market share based on merit in the search engine market.

Microsoft violated the law in the OS market to achieve / maintain their market share.

    "The Apple of Search Engines"

    Possible Interpretations

Reference to search engine market share.

Delivers search result with style and pop culture panache, but it's going to cost you.

The search result is all Bing thinks you need, despite the fact that you want more.

If you don't get the "BingCare" extended warranty on your search, well, you're an idiot.

Bring your Google search to one of the Bing Genius bars and they'll transfer it to Bing for free, but it's best if make an appointment.

I enjoy Bing's image search. Having multiple pages of results, like Google has, just feels clunky in comparison.

Except that the two aren't even remotely comparable.

For me, a search engine has exactly one functon—to find things. Google does and Bing does not. End of story.

Pretty much this.... I mean, Microsoft paid out OEMs to have IE in there and have MS branded stuff only. Cut out Netscape, and others.... that's a di*k move.

However, Google played in the Internet (harder than a controlled environment) and people sued it, slowly and surely they got the majority market. Why? Cause they are good at what they do. EU won't do anything if people voluntarily use Google.
