Conservative media outlets only grant black people credibility when they say negative things about other black people.

I also like how they introduced sheriff Clarke as "Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke (D)." Is political affiliation now part of all Americans' names and titles?

In many jurisdictions, the sheriff is elected in partisan political campaigns, so it's no different than tagging a "D" or "R" after a politicians name.

Actually in this case it's even more notable since he's only a democrat on paper so that he can be elected in Milwaukee, otherwise he is your typical Breitbart-freakshow's wet dream.

Damn, he is a bit of a nut. Well, he's a LEO in Milwaukee so I'd chalk it up to PTSD.

Even if true ... so what?

There are a myriad of political constructs energizing and mobilizing voters.

How would BLM be any different?

    Oh. That's right ...

I understand that. Still, is it absolutely necessary in this case? With congresspeople I understand - there are 535 of them, it's impossible to keep track.

In this case, too, the "D" really sticks the notion that this idiot convinced democrats to vote for him.

...which is why this article is silly. It's gloating, not reporting.

Everyone needs to pause, take a breath, and understand:

If he was elected as a Republican, it proves Liberals are correct - that we must discount his comment.

Conversely, if he was elected as a Democrat, it proves Liberals are correct - that we must discount his comment.

    Surely everyone sees the difference.

Regardless of the D or the R next to his name, the guy's a wingnut.

He may be. I don't know. And I don't ask rhetorically.

What has he said/done that makes him a "wingnut"? Feel free to leave out party references, not that I was assuming they'd be included.

Just trying to learn what he did or said that makes him insane.

No. Now's the part where I stop asking. G'night.

Apologies for the polite, relevant, direct question.

Why should I have to spell out for you what's already provided just 10 posts above your initial post?

If you're ignorant of the details, you have no one to blame but yourself.

...unless, of course, you have already read them, and you think putting a semiauto on the federal seal just because, and endorsing an armed insurrection against gay marriage are something your average, run of the mill, entirely sane sheriff would sprout off about.

Why are you surprised? Seriously. It's the liberal playbook.

Don't agree with opposing opinion? Call them a BIGOT!

Don't like the writing on the wall? Assert IGNORANCE!

Just be sure and do anything other than provide a calm, unemotional response to an objective question.

Renzatic - you are in good company. You will receive likes.

    Carry on!

I called you ignorant not because of your beliefs, but because you didn't read the goddamn links above. I don't know if it was feigned, or actual, but you were hiding behind a willing shield of ignorance.

    Happy to provide. :D

edit: Man. I hope I don't end up regretting this conversation in retrospect.

Perhaps that the problem is that Liberals believe that evidentiary based knowledge has value, and that Conservatives don't. Perhaps this is why Populism rejects "ignorant" as an empty slur-- there is nothing of value that justifies the distinction between the ignorant and the informed.
