Probably only if you are going to do 2 XDR's off of the eGPU, but that's a guess. I don't think you're imagining a very common use case scenario. 😁I know that the current MBP can power 2 XDRs. But can it do a third if I hook up a BlackMagic eGPU with it?
Blackmagic eGPU only has one downstream Thunderbolt port, zero or one DisplayPort port, and does not support Display Stream Compression (DSC), so it can only connect one XDR display at 6K (because two DisplayPort connections are required for 6K when there is no DSC).I'm not even sure the BlackMagic eGPU's out there can even drive two XDR's, I'd start the research there first.
