i'm trying to decide on whether i should invest in an ipod touch. hopefully someone has experience with this --
essentially i am looking to be able to access my personal email at work, since my internet at work blocks sites like gmail.
if i can access wifi through my workplace, i assume that the gmail site would continue to be blocked, but if i can view email through another application (like outlook -- not sure if there is an app like this), would i be able to access my personal email, or would this probably be blocked as well?

P) you'd know there's a Mail app that is already installed when you buy it. However, seeing as how the proper Gmail site is blocked, coupled with the fact Mail would have to fetch your emails from the same Gmail server, you still won't be able to access your personal emails from work.
