If you want to piss off George W. Bush ... just write a book.
i was thinking of picking this one up, but I am afraid I may just get overly pissed
I would be curious to read it. Already saw where Mr. Card already said that what Mr. Woodward said about him concerning Mr. Rumsfeld was incorrect.
Not sure about the accuracy of the rest of the book. Might be a good read.
Check this out: NY Daily News
The problem for Bush and crew is that they have lauded Woodward's previous books, so they're going to have a hard time flip-flopping on Woodward's honesty.
If Woodward is nothing more than a "liberal WaPo journalist", then his previous two books that talk about what a great CinC Bush is were just bunk. And if he was telling the truth in those first two books, then he is likely doing the same now.
It's a tough position for the WH to be in.
Who are these people, the Borgias???
Nice analogy. Louis XVI also comes to mind.
Bob is a life long Republican, but corruption and incompetence know no political party. If anything, he is more disappointed and disillusioned because he thought so much of Bush and his administration after 9/11. I'm waiting for the smear job that is invariably coming, but I'm sure he's prepared after the last time.
I'm sure history will judge one of them correct, and I'm guessing it ain't Nixo... er, Bush.
It seems that Cheney has had yet another mental breakdown by cursing at Woodward and hanging up on him without even saying goodbye. Poor guy really sounds like he needs some Valium or something. All that anger and stress certainly do no good for his heart condition.
Hmm. Knowing Cheney, perhaps Woodward should start walking around wearing a Kevlar facemask.
