    He never gets to bitch about Obama's executive order again. But the bigger surprise in this story might be that the Louisiana house committee rejected a "RFRA" law. Of all the things to use an executive order on, he chooses to use it to advance his homophobic agenda. I'm sure that'll look great when he's "running for president".

    Piyush has about as much chance at the GOP nomination as Bernie to get the Dem nod. Even less, probably. He's looking for that Fox News gig.

    This does nothing to help religious people. If they want people to respect their beliefs then they should stop asking for special treatment for them.

    Actually all of this is probably meant to help them pull through in the primary.

    Yeah, because built in Constitutional protections aren't enough for them. They want more laws to make sure their religious beliefs are protected "for realz for realz". On the other hand, if gay people are asking to be protected from employment and housing discrimination and the right to marry, somehow that's asking for "special treatment" according to these same people.

    The point is that it helps with their base, but destroys them as National candidates.
