COULD be, it will not look good of republicans try to impeach the first African American president.
If it wasn't for Americans short attention span, it wouldn't look good to impeach the last two Democrats in office. It would seem that the GOP only cares about their own power than working with the opposite party to properly run this country( we all know this is what both parties only care about, but they have to have the appearance of caring about running this country). To impeach Clinton and Obama.

But I do think Boehner is being truthful. With the exception of the extreme fringe of the right wing( mostly Palin), the left are the ones bringing up the impeachment talk.

Democrats & republicans are the SAME thing, during the bush years calls to end the war was & against the patriot act was constantly pushed by the democrats, after Obama got elected it was the republicans pretending to be outraged at the patriot act.

Bush bailout = good to republicans /bad to democrats
Obama bailout = socialism to republicans / great to democrats
The American population appears to be compromised if mostly mushrooms, kept in the dark & fed nothing but fecal matter

Absolutely agreed hence my statement in the parenthesis. The GOP and Democrats are the same.

No, I'm sorry. But that "false equivalence" just doesn't cut it.

There is huge difference between disagreeing with a President's policies - and constantly going on Fox News and talking,in all seriousness, about impeaching a President.

Democrats disagreed with the PATRIOT Act and the War in Iraq? That's what legislators in a Democratic Republic are supposed to do.

What they are NOT supposed to do is constantly try to undo the direct election of a President merely to pander to the more extreme elements in their base. Which is what a good chunk of the Republicans seem to do, pretty much all the time.

Did the Democrats in the House ever, and I mean, ever bring the Government to the brink of default when Bush was in the White House?

And this is George W. Bush we are talking about. A President whose election really was the subject of some considerable controversy. Did the Democrats spend the next four/eight years painting GW Bush as "illegitimate"? No - once Al Gore conceded the race in 2000 - the election was over.

So spare us this "pox on both their houses" nonsense. There is one group that is urinating in the soup: House Republicans.

It's not just the politicians. The people go through the amazing transformation as well , bush should be jailed for war crimes, but god forbid Obama faces the SAME charges for the SAME CRIMES  I was glad to see Maddow call out Obama over the NDAA.

But I bet it means something else to democrats down here:rolleyes:

I'm not a faux news fan. See video above on Obama by Maddow

It has nothing to do with race. The fact is that while Obama is a joke of a president, he really has not (yet) committed an impeachable offense.

----------

I'm sure Boehner is planning more Benghazi hearings and another vote to defund Obamacare. That counts as future plans, right?
He was speaking in the context of impeachment - no current or future plans to impeach. The fact that Obama is king of the scandals is a whole other matter. And with Bozo Biden sitting in the Veep's seat, Obama's job as prez is safe.

You had a typo in your post, so I fixed it for you. You're welcome.

So he's a joke of a president, but he's also king?

Actually Obama supported the Bush bailout publicly as did many other Democrats.

EDIT: On the other hand many Republicans were consistent in their opposition to bailouts as well.

I disagree. Impeachment is the right wing's wet dream. The Obama Administration mentioned it, but the idea originated and actively lives in the GOP.
