With a wife and daughter (and mother and sisters) way too in to Bollywood movies, I can understand the attention that Khan received at LHR could have happened (even though based on interviews the family has seen/read from him I think he is an arrogant buffoon who would stoop to making this up for publicity).

It appears that the folks in London are having trouble respecting the sensitivity of specific passengers who have been subjected to violations of privacy that exceed any reasonable standard.

Do we in the US trust the TSA to do any better?

As much as I hate those things, I think this is a publicity stunt. The visuals are supposed to be off-site of the scanning.

It may be, but the topic has garnered some significant attention at Flyertalk, with more than a few willing to concede it may have happened (there are also a few digressions in the middle of the thread).

Very interesting indeed. But then again, is any system REALLY secure? If the people know each other and I assume all have cell phones, a quick text wouldn't do the trick.

"OMG! SRK FTW! PRINT SCAN!!!" :p
