Boot Camp Without SP2 on Disk?

I would LOVE to have XP on a boot camp partition on my mac, however my disk of windows xp doesn't have SP2 on it. What can I do? Will it still work?

You can make a copy and slipstream SP2 into it.

I've never done it, but it looks fairly simple.
