Well we have this guy to counter balance it.

There's a gif that would work so well, but I don't want to get reported.

No, as per usual, the thread title and original post are something of a misrepresentation of the facts.

The fact are that Mr Johnson, as a journalist, (at different times, he had worked for The Times - from which he was fired for making stuff up - the Spectator, and The Daily Telegraph) enjoyed a reputation as an irresponsible controversialist, and was someone who wrote with a glib and easy wit leavened with no small learning, but a breathtaking disregard for truth and a cavalier disdain for facts and sources.

What we would call 'clickbait' except that it occurred in the print media.

One of those articles likened Mrs Clinton to 'a sadistic nurse in a mental hospital', another had sneered at President Obama's heritage accusing him of harbouring 'an ancestral dislike' of Britain, yet other pieces he had written attacked the EU, and President Erdogan (who, himself, has featured in the news recently), among sundry others.

The photographs above were taken at a press conference which was jointly held by Mr Johnson, now Foreign Secretary and Mr Kerry, Secretary of State, after a bilateral meeting between the two men. On his first meeting with Mr Kerry since being appointed Foreign Secretary, and standing beside Mr Kerry, Mr Johnson was asked about some of the stuff he had written, and characteristically, instead of owning what he had written, attempted to bluff his way out of it by arguing that some of the quotes referred to by the questioning media had "all" been 'misconstrued' and had been 'taken out of context'.

Tellingly, he did not admit to an error of either journalism or judgement, and squirmed when asked to apologise for them.

This was discussed on the radio last week and unsurprisingly the real context of this story has been completely left out by the Daily Mirror.

They're using techniques learned from the Clinton Machines way of manipulation. Highly effective measures designed to deceive...
