This is a pretty new MacBook Pro 15" running Mojave, and iStat says my battery health is 89% (6557mah out of 7336). Here is what System Information says. Is this normal? Should I take it back to Apple?

Charge Information: Charge Remaining (mAh): 6557 Fully Charged: Yes Charging: No Full Charge Capacity (mAh): 6557 Health Information: Cycle Count: 9 Condition: Normal

Coconut battery also says: Current Charge: 6557 mAh Full Charge Capacity: 6557 mAh Design Capacity: 7336 may (89.4%) Manuf. Date: 2018-05-27 Cycle Count: 9

I bought my MBP in February, and I've noticed that my battery doesn't seem to be as good as when I bought it either. I need to check the stats too. Is iStat an app? I'm going to look into this.

Coconut Battery is worth a look too. Allows you to track battery history over time. I don't use iStat, perhaps that does too, not sure.

I'd take it back, why mess with something or hem and haw. These laptops are too expensive to just accept stuff like this

Thank you for the help! As per the app, my battery is at 97%, so I suppose the decrease is my imagination. I'm going to track it over the next week to verify this. I work online, so my computers get a lot of use!
