The good news just keeps coming for Trump.

    Just breaking on CNN:

More than two dozen former Republican members of Congress released a letter Thursday saying they cannot vote for Donald Trump because he "makes a mockery" of their principles.

Though the letter makes no mention of Hillary Clinton, organizer Andrew Weinstein said some of the members will vote for the Democrat, while others will vote for Libertarian Gary Johnson or write in a candidate.

50 national security experts oppose Trump

"Given the enormous power of the office, every candidate for president must be judged rigorously in assessing whether he or she has the competence, intelligence, knowledge, understanding, empathy, judgment, and temperament necessary to keep America on a safe and steady course," the lawmakers wrote. "Donald Trump fails on each of those measures, and he has proven himself manifestly unqualified to be president."

It's basically unprecedented. I can't imagine Tony Blair saying he won't vote Labour.

Awesome, so the impeachment tally, according to you is...

    Democrats - 0
    Republicans -
    Former Republicans - 30

You mean the national security "experts" who gave us Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen, Libya, and Syria?

Can't imagine why they're voting for Hillary. I just can't work it out.

"On April 12, 2008, at a Northern Kentucky Lincoln Day dinner, Davis compared the campaign slogans of Barack Obama to the sales pitch of a "snake oil salesman". He said in his remarks at the GOP dinner that he participated in a "highly classified, national security simulation" with Obama.

"I'm going to tell you something: That boy's finger does not need to be on the button," Davis added. "He could not make a decision in that simulation that related to a nuclear threat to this country."

    Yep.

Well, they're "former" for a reason and I doubt it's because they thought it was time to hand the reins over to new blood.

This thread shows exactly why Trump is on the defense on a constant basis. 30 former GOP lawmakers sign this letter and his surrogates do everything in their power to impeach them instead of addressing why they wrote it.

I don't envy you guys, it's an uphill battle.

Clearly that means their opinions don't matter. Tell me again how FORMER TV actor, Scott Baio brings relevance to anything?

If opposing Trump will benefit those in congress they will oppose him. If standing by Trump will benefit those in congress they will stand by him. 95% of congress have no conscience and no empathy. They actually fall under the definition of super predators made by Hillary Cunton in 1994. The problem is that the American people have not "brought them to heel" (again, quoting he great Hillary. Although we all know Hillary was talking about black youth when she was talking about super predators).

Anyway, these pigs in congress would grind American voters bones into dust and sell it to China as high end jock itch powder for the right price.

I hope not. Unless he's impeached for actually breaking the law. Otherwise we'd be instituting a political coup like what just happened in Brazil which is wholly unconstitutional.

Yes, can't we all agree that Scott Baio and Robert Downy Jr. are of equal popularity and relevancy. Iron Man, Charles in Charge.. basically the same thing.
