On CNN they said multiple casualties and law enforcement told local residents to stay indoors.

When will everyone just be tired of this happening? Tired enough to do something?

Hmm...Trump said fatalities. Does he know something the media doesn’t? Because casualties doesn’t necessarily mean deaths.

Seems to be a hate crime based on what the shooter told law enforcement. They relayed the information over the scanner.

Local news has reported fatalities, and mentioned over the scanner.

    Yep.

But what the heck is a hate crime? To me anyone who kills someone else regardless of that persons gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation is a crime and I doubt it’s done out of love.

The shooter said "All Jews must die, I don't want any of them to live."

He is the president and will get more word and information than the media. Besides, CNN said officials confirmed multiple fatalities.

So if he or she said all white men must die I don’t want any of them to live that wouldn’t be a hate crime?

Anyway, now saying 7 dead. :(

Depends on the state but yes that would be a hate crime. I don’t understand why that’s an issue though.

Ok this alleged shooter is whack. And for some reason Donald Trump Jr. is liking tweets with these screen shots...I guess because the shooter appears to be anti-Trump. But it seems he’s he’s a far-right anti-Trump guy not a liberal.

    From your article

“Dangerous weapons are putting our citizens in harm’s way. And in the aftermath of this tragedy, we must come together and take action to prevent these tragedies in the future."

This is a call for a gun ban. What firearm isn’t considered dangerous?

You are reading into it what you want. The quote says “take action”. That is about as open ended statement as can be made.

Because "this isn't the time or the place" to bring that up, right? Only it never is.

It’s sad that violent anti semitism still exists in the US

If more people in easy and often targeted places were armed then events like this would go down quite differently, as we have seen in past events. It is certainly not abnormal for a synagogue in Israel to have armed guards or attendees. And many Christian churches here in the US have armed members present (and they have stopped murderers in their tracks). You cannot rely on police to protect you. When seconds count police are minutes away, or longer. The average police response time in the US is 18 minutes, or more. As a gun owner I can tell you that I, if I were a murderous person intent on wreaking havoc, could kill a whole lot of people in that time without using a rifle. The police aren't even required to protect you or anyone else, by law. We ARE on our own. The Jewish community, the latest victims of atrocity, have long said "Never Again". I truly wish that they meant it and had had people on hand to to defend them.

"While calling 911 in an emergency has been around for ages, it can take too long from the time an emergency is reported to the time officers arrive on the scene. The average school shooting lasts 12.5 minutes, while the average police response time is 18 minutes.Feb 28, 2016" - From Sheriffs.org"

    TDS?

Not sure what Trump has to do with a nutcase shooting up a synagogue but I guess these days everything has to include Trump in some fashion when he lives rent free, 24/7 in the minds of some...
