He thought he wouldn't get caught, and probably was hoping for a presidential pardon in the event he was caught.

Yes, by all means do that. If anything could possibly trigger an impeachment vote, that would do it.

It’s not an impeachment vote. It’s not like America comes and votes in the president is impeached.

Sarah Sanders said today that this administration follows the law! That's why they are separating children from their parents. But....when they might have done something wrong, nope! No more due process, no more law.

No. You're clearly not aware because the first step is: The House of Representatives votes on one or more articles of impeachment.

But that isn’t the entire impeachment proceeding.

Regardless, I will never be impeached.

No one said you would be.

And no one said it was the entire impeachment proceeding.

Are you done trying to create your straw man?

Not one of his charges have to do with the 2016 Presidential election.

He is a political prisoner and Trump should pardon him.

The fact is, this special counsel never had anything to do with the 2016 election and was all about attacking Trump and his people for winning. This is why the Second Amendment is so important and why Leftists want to get rid of it.

If Manafort was being charged with 2016 election crimes I'd 100% be OK with it. But then again, Russian "meddling" is as real as Saddam's WMDs.

How is he a political prisoner. You do the crime. You do the time.

This has zero to do with the 2A

Because this special counsel was supposed to be about the fake "Russian interference in the 2016 election." Yet not ONE of Manafort's charges has to deal with the 2016 Presidential election.

Manafort is being tried only because he is a supporter of Trump. That is called attacking political opponents and it's what Stalin, ZeDong, North Korea, etc. etc. did/do.

And what about illegal aliens? Do you support deporting them? After all, they did the crime right?

You see what you wanna see. Just because you want it that way doesn’t make it true. It’s honestly not worth even debating people like you and videomaniac as you don’t make any good faith arguments

Do you not see any sort of connection between illegal lobbying work for Russia and how that might come to light during an investigation into Russian interference in the election?

I would love to know what happened to the GOP over the past two years or so to make them go from being pro law enforcement and accusing people who dared to protest police brutality of being unpatriotic to now thinking that law enforcement are evil people out to get them.

So are you saying people should be shooting law enforcement officers over this? Or what is the connection to the second amendment?

What does 2005 bank fraud have to do with the 2016 Presidential election?

Mueller hasn't charged him with even one thing relating to the 2016 election and the judge called him out for this.

And the fact is, being biased isn't a good thing. For example: Trump associates have been questioned about a wealthy Russian donating money to his campaign/inauguration. However, that same Russian has also donated to the Clintons. Why isn't any of her associates being questioned?

Because this has nothing to do with Russia. The "Russian meddling" is as real as Saddam Hussein's WMDs. Russians didn't meddle in the election and you know it.

What this is is a witch hunt.

Because if we got rid of the second amendment, Manafort's fate would be the fate for all Trump supporters. I should say not by leftists or Democrats, but by the Deep State.

I mean without Googling it, do you even know why Cohen's office was raided? It's because he was Trump's lawyer and that was enough "probable cause" to do it.

Also, Mueller has a history of threatening to arrest family and friends, and likely did that with Flynn and Manafort. For example, during the Anthrax investigation Mueller harassed Steven Hatfill and pretty much tried to drive him to suicide. Mueller's office would leak all sorts of crap to the press, who would then show it on air. Hatfill very nearly killed himself before he was killed.

Unfortunately, Mueller didn't stop there and went after another guy named Bruce Irvins. Unlike with Hatfill, Mueller successfully drove Ivins to kill himself.

His charges have nothing to do with the 2016 Presidential election.
