Hey, I just saw a CNN alert that says Donald Trump has chosen a new chief of staff. So I guess Reince Priebus has been fired? Scaramucci is getting his work done fast...
Yes, see my thread I posted.
Damn that's some churn.
Drat, you beat me to the punch.
Mooch has done more in a day than Trump did in 6 months
This guy is running our country like his reality tv show.
Very interesting choice
Following the Nixon playbook too. A military man as White House chief of staff...
Wow, word is Preibus was on air force one with Trump when Trump tweeted that out! Nice. I wonder if he even knew he was getting fired by the boss who was probably a few seats away while airborne? Or did he get the news on twitter like everyone else?
Reince is actually pretty well liked among the establishment republicans, and I have no doubt he was a liaison between the president and the lawmakers. Without him as chief of staff, I have a feeling that his own party will be more vocal towards him (and they already have been the last couple of weeks, perhaps they saw the writing on the wall).
Also, if he was in fact leaking information (not sure to believe that or not), things could actually get worse now if he held back anything.
Funny how Trump talks about loyalty. Definitely a dead-end, one way street in his world.
Very understated reaction!
Look for a parachute falling out of AF1.
Another one bites the dust...
Yeah, because nothing says "I'm proud of you" like "you're fired".
Yeah, only Priebus happens to be best wayback buds w/ Paul Ryan. Yeeeee haaaah.
At least he was an enlisted guy
This is no longer funny.
Trump is beginning to behave just like Hitler.
He is beginning to surround himself with Generals.
"Reince, you played the game well at first but your group challenges were not that great near the end. Leave the board room. You're fired."
Hopefully you're not comparing US generals with nazi generals.
Think we do have some posts in the wayback of Trump's transition about him picking military for advisory posts like National Security Advisor and etc. So now here's another one.
Hey all the better to roll him up when the time comes and it's not a drill, eh?
This is not a post has to be confirmed by the Senate, so if he passed background check to be what he is today, he's in, basically.
Hopefully the generals will not be afraid to tell him he is full of ****.
