Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston says he believes Donald Trump has 'mental illness' - Evening Standard
    https://apple.news/AkOH6q5Q8TjuqTT4lJYp4-A

Funny how this story won’t go away. From hearing medical professionals talking about this at a wedding here, to various comments like Bryan’s. It’s all interesting.

    No smoke without fire?

I'm not sure narcisism is a mental illness...

but, it's not really fair to remotely assign mental illness on anyone, even one as deplorable as Trump. We need to be careful with this and there's a reason why psychiatrists and psychologists generally avoid diagnosing anyone unless they sit down and talk with them first and not just do it based on TV appearances

That said. Even if he doesn't have a mental illness, he has a mental deficiency somewhere and shouldn't have the power he has.

Not entirely sure how much power he has. He may be irrelevant.

Every American suffers from some form of mental illness. It’s just up to us to only hang out with those who suffer the same kind.

I have my moments of hoping so anyway.

It's reasuring to some of us that more than a few in Congress and elsewhere in his administration have begun trying to ensure that Trump's a lot more boxed in than one might think an American president needed to be.

This guy has created chaos in his own party, his own government and all over the planet in relationships with our allies. It's remarkable (yet predictable) for Trump's press secretary to turn that on its head and say he's rescued the planet from chaos. Around the world heads were certainly scratched in the wake of that pronouncement, which I'd say was meant strictly for his peanut gallery of die-hard supporters.

What's weird is that the more off the reservation Trump goes in his public contradictions of his own cabinet and members of his own party in the House or Senate, the more he messes up his chances to do much more damage to the country. He's managed to get so far into it with Senator Corker that he'll never get another SoS confirmed. Does Trump even remember Corker controls the Foreign Relations committee, which in turn controls confirmation of diplomatic appointments and usually the Secretary of State as well?

I don't know if Trump's crazy. He's impulsive and narcissistic. In lieu of crazy, that will do in a pinch.

Drinking or smoking would explain a whole lot. Trump doesn't do neither.

Who is Bryan Cranston anyways? Who cares, more importantly. Go back to your overrated cable TV show. Idiot.

While I don't care what anyone from Hollywood has to say (except maybe those who worked with DJ on The Apprentice), I have felt for a long time now that Trump is sundowning. I don't know if he has Alzheimers, or just your run-of-the-mill dementia, but he is not mentally stable.

Yes it is a mental illness.

    NPD- http://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-...ality-disorder/basics/definition/con-20025568

There is also strong evidence that he is a sociopath.

    ASP- http://www.health.com/mind-body/sociopath-traits

People with an antisocial personality disorder tend to be deceitful, impulsive. They ignore responsibilities and, in the worst cases, they have no conscience.”

In the good ole days, we did not know enough to categorize specific deficient behavior other than saying someone had a deficient personality. We know more today.

100% true. Everybody has *some problem* or is labeled. Great. Just more ways to shove pills down peoples throats and blame a condition for awful behavior. Terrific.
