For some reason this morning I have been unable to watch movies over LTE as I get a error message saying I can’t download over cellular. What I have done.

closed every app
Rebooted phone
Powered phone off then on
Checked settings which allows for LTE playback

I watch movies everyday over LTE so I think there is a apple or sprint problem here. Anyone?

Since this morning my AppleTV app is refusing to play my movies and TV shows over a cellular connection. I have spoken with apple and the problem is not yet resolved. If this was a carrier issue then I would not be able to stream video in YouTube, MLB At Bat, FoxNews, and the like over cellular. I am thinking this is a bug in IOS 13.3.1. Anyone else having this issue? NOTE- I am able to play AppleTV + content over cellular just not my purchased movies and TV shows.
I can confirm this on my iPhone XR with iOS 13.3.1. I sent feedback to Apple as a bug report.

Yes. I had never tried watching a movie over cellular in the TV app until I read your post. iPadOS has the same issue.

Hmmmm, that's odd, as I can ( Three UK, mini 5 ). There's something more to this, though, as I've seen a fair few reports from people that have been able to watch movies, and only recently, can't.... Could it be carrier related?

it’s been resolved as of Saturday I have been able to watch movies over LTE. And all this without having to reset my network settings which Apple and Sprint always try to do whenever there is any problem. Absurd!

Confirmed, seems to be resolved. Thank you for that. I wonder if it was just a temporary glitch in Apple's media streaming system.
