My iPod touch 3G screen has a bit of give/flex I the corners, particularly the lower corners. The home button seems to be a little raised. Is this normal? My 1G was totally solid with no give and a flush home button, as is my wides 3GS.

I don't notice any flex on my 3G screen (typing this on my new 3G now). How significant is the flex? If it's bad, you might want to take your touch in.

It doesn't flex under normal use. Try gently pressing the corners. What about your home button, is it raised on flush?

If I gently pressed near the corners the screen moved inwards by 1mm. Also the home button sat proud at all times by 1mm. The replacement is as solid as my 1G and the home button is flush. It was a fault they said.
