is it possible to burn a .ISO file onto disk so that it's bootable on a windows machine?

should I use disk utitlity? toast 6 titanium?

I need to burn it for my sisters PC but she only has readers in her machine and my PC is long dead.

It should work without a hitch, as long as you're burning the ISO file straight-up and aren't modifying it at all. Disk Utility should work fine for that. Give it a shot!

If your ISO is bootable, you can use the Apple disk utility to burn it. I do it all the time to boot Windows.

And in case you don't already have a bootable ISO image, look at one of the plethora of threads/sites that describe how to make one with mkisofs from cdrtools.
